What’s the Project?

We’re reimagining the infamous Plan 9 from Outer Space as a splatter-fest packed with analog heart. Aliens invade Willow Creek, zapping graves with cosmic rays to unleash a horde of oozing zombies led by a 30-foot stop-motion FLESH MASS—a grotesque, writhing nightmare of latex limbs, pulsating organs, and neon slime. Our heroes—Alice, Mike, and Cap’n Retrovania—fight back with arcade EMP blasters, hairspray flamethrowers, and pure ‘80s grit in a blood-soaked, synthwave-drenched battle to save the world.

Think practical FX galore: corn syrup blood, squib-rigged zombie heads, and stop-motion chaos that’d make Phil Tippet proud. It’s a love letter to ‘80s and ‘90s horror, camp slashers, and retro arcade culture, wrapped in a glow-in-the-dark VHS vibe.

Why We Need Your Support

We’re in Phase 1: Pre-Production, and our first mission is to finalize the script’s ultimate draft—a lean, mean, slime-dripping blueprint for the chaos to come. This $10,000 goal will fund:

Writers’ Room: Paying our passionate director and producer, the retro-obsessed Cap'n Retrovania to polish the script into a splatter masterpiece that would make George A. Romero proud.

Research & Development: Diving deep into ‘80s horror and sci-fi to nail the tone, from The Blob's goo to They Live’s attitude.
